Snowcat skiing was pioneered in 1975 by Allan and Brenda Drury in the small community of Meadow Creek, BC. Situated in the south east corner of British Columbia, 1 1/2 hours north of Nelson. Over the past 32 years, Allan, Brenda and their staff at Selkirk Wilderness Skiing have developed a loyal following amongst deep powder skiers and snowboarders looking for an alternative to both lift-serviced and helicopter skiing and riding.

Each Sunday twenty-four guests are taken by snowcat to Selkirk Wilderness Skiing’s beautiful lodge situated at 1280m (4200 feet). This spacious mountain hideaway offers panoramic views of the Selkirk and Purcell Mountains with all the luxuries of home. Over the next five days guests are transported in comfort to the surrounding peaks to sample spectacular open bowls, delightful glades or challenging chutes.
